Downton Parish Council has been a burial
authority since 1942 when the Cemetery was
opened in Barford Lane. Guidance
and regulations for members of the public,
funeral directors and stonemasons are
set out in the Burial Regulations.
The Cemetery is divided into four sections
– Church of England, Roman Catholic
and Non-Conformist Burials, and an area for
the interment of Ashes. The current
burial and memorial fees are set out below.
